Mr. Cheeti Parakash Rao is born to Sri Cheeti Sreenivasa Rao and late Radhamma on May 10 1951 in Chendurthi Mandal of Karim Nagar district. He completed his B.A. Degree and joined the APSEB in 1971, 24th of July. He rose to the position of Accounts officer and retired on 31st of May 2008. During his long tenure, for 11 years, he served the India’s largest employment union as the State union leader and District head. During his tenure as the union leader, he ensured several private contract employees were permanently employed into the APSEB organization. The union members, on the Day of his retirement commemorated his services and showed their respect and gratitude by gifting him a new car. Sri Prakash Rao, today, even after his retirement remains the district head for the union and addresses the retired employee issues.
Hi family, wife Rama with a son (Shankar Rao) and a daughter (Mrs. Haritha) were always strength of support. From 2011- 2013, Mr. Prakasha Rao was the committee member of AIVA. His daughter Haritha is the resident of Nachupally village. She is an assistant engineer in Karimnagar District. Haritha is a mother for two boys Pritham and Pranay. Pritham is pursuing his engineering while Pranay is studying intermediate.
Mr. Prakashrao’s son, Mr. Shankar Rao, after completing his Engineering, left to USA. He is today settled in Washington. He is married to Mrs. Anusha and has two kids. He is elected as the All India Velama Association Vice president for the year 2015-2018.
